Biggest Congressional Scandal-- never reported

Just who is Jackson Cosko, the mastermind behind what prosecutors have called ‘the largest data breach in Senate history? What are the implications of the Imran Awan scandal and the extraordinary cover-up that followed? And how do these scandals relate to the recent arrest of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein? This is American Thought Leaders, and

I’m Jan Jekielek. Today we sit down with Luke Rosiak, an investigative reporter with a penchant for uncovering congressional scandals, and author of the book Obstruction of Justice: How the Deep State Risked National Security to Protect the Democrats. We explore the scandals Luke has been exposing: that of Jackson Cosko, who gained notoriety by doxxing Republican Senators during the Kavanaugh hearings, the near-unbelievable Imran Awan scandal where 44 house democrats’ servers were deeply compromised (and how this was then covered up.

American Betrayal: The Secret Assault on Our Nation’s Character

May 16, 2013 - Diana West talked about her book, American Betrayal: The Secret Assault on Our Nation’s Character, in which she argues that the U.S. has been “marching toward socialism” since the 1940s, abandoning its core ideals in the process. She spoke with Ariel Cohen, the Heritage Foundation’s Senior Research Fellow for Russian and Eurasian Studies.

As the Democrats become more openly Marxist, this book is important to see it wasn't an over night process. Both parties Democrat and Republican were complicit, though the Dems seem to be more so.

White Privilege: Identity Politics and the Marxist Lie

Jordan Peterson is one of the premiere intellectuals speaking common sense. Although he lacks the humor of G.K. Chesterton, I think his biting critique of the modern world  is so necessary today.

His discussion of the identity politics which is essentially Marxist.

The Truth About McCarthyism: Modern Parallels

This is a topic people think they understand but they don't. So try this presentation as an introduction to a subject that will be enlightening.

Stefan Molyneux is a You Tube personality. He is an atheist but he seems like an honest one. I mean that he is willing to pursue the truth. He is kind of like a modern Cicero. He is documenting the fall of western society like Cicero did during the fall of Rome. Cicero was trying to arouse a love again for virtue in Rome and so Stefan Molyneux also calls for the west to love virtue again.

The mainstream narrative of McCarthyism would tell you that from 1950 to 1954, Senator Joseph R. McCarthy unjustly accused a wide variety of Americans of being communist spies, creating a hysterical witch-hunt that destroyed the lives of innocent people. What is the truth about Sen. Joseph McCarthy and McCarthyism? What are the modern parallels between mid-1950s McCarthyism and the events of today?

Hollywood never tires of making movies of how evil McCarthyism was. Like most historical events the history is written by the winners and McCarthy lost.

This is a long presentation (3hours plus)  and might be good for listening to in the car or while your working/cleaning around the house. I am posting the You Tube version but there are audio versions for downloading here

Ten Reasons Left-Wingers Cut Trump Voters from Their Lives

Many Hillary Clinton voters have ceased communicating with friends, and even family members, who voted for Donald Trump. It is so common that the New York Times published a front-page article on the subject headlined “Political Divide Splits Relationships — and Thanksgiving, Too.”
The article begins with three stories:
Matthew Horn, a software engineer from Boulder, Colo., canceled Christmas plans with his family in Texas. Nancy Sundin, a social worker in Spokane, Wash., has called off Thanksgiving with her mother and brother. Ruth Dorancy, a software designer in Chicago, decided to move her wedding so that her fiancĂ©’s grandmother and aunt, strong Trump supporters from Florida, could not attend.
The Times acknowledges that this phenomenon is one-sided, saying, “Democrats have dug in their heels, and in some cases are refusing to sit across the table from relatives who voted for President-elect Donald J. Trump.”
A number of people who voted for Trump called my show to tell me that their daughters had informed them they would no longer allow their parents to see their grandchildren. And one man sent me an e-mail reporting that his brother-in-law’s mother told him that she “no longer had a son.”
All of this raises an obvious question:

Why is this phenomenon of cutting off contact with friends and relatives so one-sided?

Why don’t we hear about conservatives shunning friends and relatives who supported Hillary Clinton?

Is "Local Motors" The End Of The Auto Industry? Is the "Ford System" dying?

Like a Swiss Army Knife, 3D printing a versatile tool

I have been following  3D printing for the past 7 years and we are looking at a whole new revolution that will make manufacturing more traditional in the middle ages craftsman  sense than we have known for some time.

3D printers will make it possible to have local factories of 5 to 12 people. This video is focusing on autos but it could easily branch out. So the same factory could make a number of different tools or items. It could be a family business for large families.

This is a possible revolution like we saw with personal computers and a less centralized society. This could be BIG.

Local Motors is bringing a radically different business model to the automotive industry. No design studios. No engineering staff. No massive factories. No dealerships. In other words, no massive capital investments. If they can make it work it could completely turn the industry upside down. Justin Fishkin, the Chief Strategy Officer of Local Motors, joins John and Gary for a most interesting conversation on the brave new world of crowd-sourced car design.

Feminism and the Razing of the Village

Feminism promised to empower women. Instead it destroyed their support system.

The intensity of motherhood surprises contemporary women. Some of us struggle through it privately. Others write shocked confessionals in blogs and open letters that go viral. This recent entry in the genre from Time is typical, complete with the call for help:
It’s time to recognize that by refusing to give parents — and especially women — some basic support to meet their competing obligations, we have created an impossible situation for them, one that has the makings of a serious public-health crisis.
Who is the “we” that created this impossible situation for mothers?  How did it become the norm? Few ask the questions. Most accept that the impossible state is just how it is if women are in the work force and unless fathers contribute more. Fathers, however, already take on levels and types of household duties that would stun our grandfathers, yet women find the work and life balance harder than ever to achieve. Many call, as this Time piece did, for government action of some sort.

What ever happened to the village?

The Ideological Disease known as 'Cultural Marxism' Exposed

This is a confusing subject but clearly explained here.  The enemy of Cultural Marxism is western culture. The video is pretty objective until the end. The goal is cultural demoralization-- a chaotic unruly society. Thus the only answer to restore peace in this warring minorities and majorities is government.  Once government is the all powerful "peace keeper" a socialistic implementation of Marxism can be slowly constructed with very little opposition.

What pro-aborts can no longer deny: Margaret Sanger supported eugenics (selective breeding and killing of the "unfit")

Featured Image

What pro-aborts can no longer deny: Margaret Sanger supported eugenics [more on eugenics]

January 10, 2011 (PublicDiscourse.com) - Herman Cain’s remarks concerning Planned Parenthood’s promotion of abortion to blacks thrust the organization and its founder once more into the spotlight. Congressional attempts to defund Planned Parenthood had already generated publicity. When Hillary Clinton received Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award in 2009, she was prompted to make an apologia for accepting the award because of questions raised at a House committee hearing. In each of these cases, the controversy centered on the eugenic beliefs of Margaret Sanger (1879–1966), Planned Parenthood’s founder.
To a Sanger supporter, the accusation of eugenics touches a nerve. To understand this, one must grasp the subconscious syllogism underlying the emotional reaction: Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood are progressive feminist institutions. Progressive feminism cannot coexist with eugenics, which is a malady of the right-wing. Therefore, Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood are free of eugenic contamination. QED.
Something new has happened over the last ten years, however, that challenges such easy assumptions, and both Cain’s and Clinton’s language reflected it. No one with any command of the facts can deny any more that Sanger was in some way a eugenicist.
[Click if you want to end abortion!]

First, scholars of women’s history have begun examining the feminist movement with more objectivity, producing a new literature that is less afraid to detail the unsavory aspects of feminist history.

Why I Am An Anti-Feminist - The Fiamengo File, Episode 1

This is a really good presentation of the problems of Feminism.(There is a whole series of videos linked as a play list just let it play to the next video) She uses some extreme examples  to illustrate her point. She nor Catholic Data condone "pick-up" artists or other underlying anti-Christian morality in some examples. It is rather to understand there are distinctions to be made  between equal dignity (which is only a Christian principle--other ideologies do not hold this even though they say they do.) and sophistic manipulation of the term.
Feminism is a branch of Neo-Marxism -- the will to power-- not equality.

Cultural Marxism destroying Western Culture

Cultural Marxism, dubbed “the greatest cancer in the Western world”, is the ideological driver behind political correctness. It is the destructive criticism and undermining of all institutions of Western civilization and the traditional values underpinning it.

Cultural Marxism was formulated as a way to subvert Western nations and civilization using methods other than direct political action.

Cultural Marxism is largely a synthesis of Marx and Freud. It is Marxism as applied in the cultural sphere and the analysis and control of the media, art, theatre, film and other cultural institutions in society, often with an emphasis on class, race and gender.

Shortly after the Russian Revolution, in 1919 the Bolsheviks founded Comintern (the Communist International) to “fight by all available means … for the overthrow of the international bourgeoisie for the creation of an international Soviet republic.”

Two Marxist theorists, Antonio Gramsci of Italy and Georg Lukacs of Hungary, concluded that the Christianised West was the obstacle standing in the way of a communist new world order. Gramsci said that Christianity had corrupted the working class and the West would have to be de- Christianised by a “long march through the culture” – starting with the traditional family and completely engulfing churches, schools, media, entertainment, civic organizations, literature, science, and the presentation (and revision) of history.

In 1923 Lukacs established the Institution for Marxism in Frankfurt – later known as the Frankfurt School. Lukacs said “I saw the revolutionary destruction of society as the one and only solution.  A worldwide overturning of values cannot take place without the annihilation of the old values and the creation of new ones by the revolutionaries.”

During the Second World War, the Frankfurt School relocated to various campuses in the  United States and many became influential in American universities. The Frankfurt School’s studies combined Marxist analysis with Freudian psychoanalysis to form the basis of what became known as “Critical Theory.” – the destructive criticism of Western culture, including Christianity, capitalism, authority, the family, patriarchy, morality, tradition, sexual restraint, loyalty, patriotism, nationalism, ethno-centrism, conservatism.

Critical Theory repeats over and over this mantra of alleged Western evils: racism, sexism, colonialism, nationalism, homophobia, fascism, xenophobia, imperialism, and of course religious bigotry (only applied to Christianity).

In 1950, Theodor Adorno of the Frankfurt School proposed the idea of the ‘authoritarian personality‘ – claiming that Christianity, capitalism, and the traditional family create a character prone to racism and fascism. Thus, anyone who upholds traditional moral values and institutions is both racist and fascist, and everyone raised in the traditions of God, family, patriotism or free markets needs psychological help.

The Frankfurt School were frustrated at the persistent lack of interest by the Western working class in revolt. Herbert Marcuse asked the question: Who could substitute for the working class as the agent of revolution?

His answer was:  marginalized groups, including black militants, feminists, homosexual militants, the asocial, the alienated and third world revolutionaries represented by the mass murderer Che Guevara.

Cultural terrorism – now called political correctness – was to be waged against white, Christian, capitalist, heterosexual males.

So victim groups were to be defended:  Blacks, women, also now Muslims as alleged victims of “racism“ and “genocide”  and also, more recently, the environment (being raped by white capitalists).

Marxist Feminism’s Ruined Lives

  From: frontpagemag.com

 By Mallory Millett
feminists
"When women go wrong men go right after them.”
-- Mae West

“Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.”  Winston Churchill wrote this over a century ago.
During my junior year in high school, the nuns asked about our plans for after we graduated. When I said I was going to attend State University, I noticed their disappointment.  I asked my favorite nun, “Why?” She answered, “That means you'll leave four years later a communist and an atheist!"
What a giggle we girls had over that. "How ridiculously unsophisticated these nuns are," we thought. Then I went to the university and four years later walked out a communist and an atheist, just as my sister Katie had six years before me.

Sometime later, I was a young divorcee with a small child. At the urging of my sister, I relocated to NYC after spending years married to an American executive stationed in Southeast Asia. The marriage over, I was making a new life for my daughter and me.  Katie said, "Come to New York.  We're making revolution! Some of us are starting the National Organization of Women and you can be part of it."
I hadn't seen her for years.  Although she had tormented me when we were youngsters, those memories were faint after my Asian traumas and the break-up of my marriage.  I foolishly mistook her for sanctuary in a storm. With so much time and distance between us, I had forgotten her emotional instability.
And so began my period as an unwitting witness to history. I stayed with Kate and her lovable Japanese husband, Fumio, in a dilapidated loft on The Bowery as she finished her first book, a PhD thesis for Columbia University, “Sexual Politics.”

It was 1969. Kate invited me to join her for a gathering at the home of her friend, Lila Karp. They called the assemblage a "consciousness-raising-group," a typical communist exercise, something practiced in Maoist China.  We gathered at a large table as the chairperson opened the meeting with a back-and-forth recitation, like a Litany, a type of prayer done in Catholic Church. But now it was Marxism, the Church of the Left, mimicking religious practice:

"Why are we here today?" she asked.
"To make revolution," they answered.
"What kind of revolution?" she replied.
"The Cultural Revolution," they chanted.
“And how do we make Cultural Revolution?" she demanded.
"By destroying the American family!" they answered.
"How do we destroy the family?" she came back.
"By destroying the American Patriarch," they cried exuberantly.
"And how do we destroy the American Patriarch?” she replied.
"By taking away his power!"
"How do we do that?"
"By destroying monogamy!" they shouted.
"How can we destroy monogamy?"
Their answer left me dumbstruck, breathless, disbelieving my ears.  Was I on planet earth?  Who were these people?
"By promoting promiscuity, eroticism, prostitution and homosexuality!" they resounded.

Review: Liberty the God that Failed Part I

[ed..I am not a monarchist. I just want people to live a decent life on this earth according to their dignity being created in the image of God. What system of government achieves this, I don't care, as long as it isn't against God or Catholicism]
By Ryan Grant Original
he narrative some have come to trust from talk radio or from public personalities like Pat Buchanan, Justice Antonin Scalia or libertarians such as Ron Paul and Lew Rockwell, is that it is in our best interest to return to the vision of the American Founding Fathers, who, in their estimate, were God-fearing men, lovers of liberty and risked life and limb to save their progeny from tyranny. Voting Republican, in their view, will ensure judges interpret the constitution according to original intent, protect the Church, and our free speech.
There is only problem with this account. It simply isn’t true. Making this case is Christopher A. Ferrara in his latest book, Liberty: The God that Failed.

"The Prize" epic quest for oil, money and power

I put this in the economics and political sections, because energy is really what drives power and money. Those who control it control everything.
