Vitamin Deficiencies Known to Cause Birth Defects

It appears that isolation from Western civilization and its foods of commerce, combined with obedience to time-honored dietary traditions and folklore in the local population, afforded a diet that protected health and lengthened lifespan. Birth defects were non-existent and the strongest genetic profiles transferred easily to each generation. The dietary traditions found in the knowledge and folklore of these isolated cultures looked nothing like our modern USDA Food Pyramid, unless, perhaps, if it is turned upside-down and all the foodstuffs are consumed in their unrefined state.

Vitamin deficiencies known to cause birth defects in animals include thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, folate, and vitamins A, B6, B12, C, D, E, and K. In animal studies, shortages of these nutrients cause cleft palate, hydrocephalus (water on the brain), Siamese twins, and kidney, limb, eye and brain malformations.

Post-Soviet Russia offers a shocking view of the combined effects of pollution and starvation on human
progeny. The head of Russia's environmental commission states that ten percent of Russian children are born with deformities (increasing by two percent annually). One-fifth of these is attributed to environmental toxins.5 He cites studies that point to the widespread use of foods contaminated with agricultural chemicals along with grinding poverty that keeps pregnant women from obtaining little more than survival levels of protein, minerals, and vitamins. The Russian diet rarely includes meat, fish, eggs, or dairy. Neonatal nutrition for many Russian women is primarily starchy food, providing carbohydrate calories and little more.6 UNICEF reports that only nine percent of Russian babies are considered completely healthy. It is of little surprise that a staggering sixty percent of Russian infants show signs of rickets.7
Long ago, nutritional pioneers such as McCarrison, Price, and Lee accurately predicted this kind of genetic destruction, acquired through dietary patterns, which passes to the chromosomes of the next generation. Russia stands as a glaring example of their warning.

Let us now consider what is known about the consequences of carrying a baby while starved of the proper nutrients.

Religion in Society: ALAN KEYES vs A. DERSHOWITZ

This is a great debate by one of America's greatest orators. I think it is a modern Lincoln/Douglas debate.

CALCIUM: More important than you think.

CALCIUM: Let’s look at the most common mineral in the human body. 85% of the total mineral is calcium. There’s 147 different diseases you can get from a calcium deficiency. We’ll just go over the top 10 when it comes to the number of people affected and the amount of money involved.

Let’s look at Osteoporosis, the number 10 killer of adults in the United States. Remember, 75% of those over the age of 65 who fracture a hip or leg bone don’t live 90 days. Also, it’s the most horrible disease when it comes to human misery and dollars expended. Osteoporosis. Think of the special vans, and the lift gates, and the ramps and the elevators, the special plumbing in homes and public buildings. Special parking places, wheelchairs and walkers and canes. Think of the beds and the chairs with little electric motors to lift you up when you can’t stand up by yourself. Physical therapists, joint replacement surgery, pharmaceuticals, doctor’s visits. We’re talking billions and billions of dollars for nothing more than a calcium deficiency disease. Now as horrible a disease as Osteoporosis is, in human beings, we don’t have Osteoporosis in animals because we don’t have Blue Cross, Blue Shield, major medical hospitalization, Medicare and Medicaid to pay for non-essential surgical treatments for mineral deficiency, we’ve learned that by putting animals who are weaned off their mother’s milk onto 10 cents of calcium as soon as they are weaned, they won’t get arthritis or Osteoporosis. It’s amazing how that works.

The Maker Movement--Is the 'Maker Movement' the next Industrial Revolution?

The Mondragon Experiment -- Catholic Social Teachings in Action

The determining factor in the creation of the Mondragon system was the arrival in 1941 of a young Catholic priest José María Arizmendiarrieta in Mondragón, a town with a population of 7,000 that had not yet recovered from the Spanish Civil War: poverty, hunger, exile and tension. In 1943, Arizmendiarrieta established a technical college that became a training ground for generations of managers, engineers and skilled labour for local companies, and primarily for the co-operatives. Before creating the first co-operative, Arizmendiarrieta spent a number of years educating young people about a form of humanism based on solidarity and participation, in harmony with Catholic Social Teaching, and the importance of acquiring the necessary technical knowledge.

Origin of Life--Creationist perspective

Dr. Sherry Tenpenny outlines the many disorders from iodine deficiency

Iodine Concerns – but don’t overreact original link The video covers much in detail. It is important especially for women.

Iodine chemistry, iodine/thyroid issues are really complex. When it is ingested, it is rapidly absorbed in the stomach and duodenum. Iodate, widely used in salt iodization, is reduced in the gut and absorbed as iodide. Iodine doesn’t stay in the blood stream for very long; under normal circumstances, it has either been absorbed into tissues or eliminated by the kidneys in less than 12 hours.

In my experience, you won’t know how you will respond to iodine until you start taking it. In some, iodine is truly the “cure” to a long list of ailments. In others, it can cause a lot of problems and side effects. Iodine can correct Hashimoto’s thyroiditis in some; in others, especially those who are low in selenium, it can *cause* Hashimoto’s disease (an autoimmune inflammation of the thyroid). Given the necessity of iodine for life, it is not clear why some people react to iodine in salt or seafood. Side effects can include gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, epigastric pain, and diarrhea), significant total-body rash, and something called “iodide fever”. Toxic reactions generally require large doses, but some people are very sensitive and even small doses can cause a reaction. For patients on thyroid medications, taking iodine can effect their required dosage — they may require less…or more. In almost everyone, the TSH will go up while on iodine, as explained below.

The Makers Movement: Future of Manufacturing

Chris Anderson, editor-in-chief of Wired magazine, contends that America is on the verge of a new industrial revolution spurred by advances in computing. The author profiles a selection of start-up industrialists, "makers," who are using social media, crowd sourcing, and open source software to redefine American industry and manufacturing. Chris Anderson speaks at the Commonwealth Club of California in San Francisco.

This is pretty exciting possibilities.

Content-control---Clean up Hollywood yourself

ClearPlay is an advanced parental control DVD player that allows content filtering of ordinary DVD films, purchased or rented. ClearPlay is the technology that automatically skips over or mutes undesirable content such as profanity, graphic violence, drug and adult-oriented content, all in real time. A ClearPlay-enabled DVD player is required, along with what are called Filter files.

These files, which are created by ClearPlay editors,[1] will know where the possibly unwanted content is located, even to the exact frame. This allows the ClearPlay DVD player to block offensive or undesirable content during playback of the DVD. The choice is also made available to watch the film in its original form, by turning the filtering off. ClearPlay allows users to customize what they want to skip. There are twelve categories of content that can be filtered and with four different levels (none, implied, explicit and graphic).[2] These categories include: Violence, Sex, Nudity and Vulgarity. Users will see a list, before the movie starts, of possibly questionable content that ClearPlay will not remove depending on the movie, scene and/or situation.

The filter files interact with the player by way of what is called a FilterStik (a small USB flash drive which is included with the player). The FilterStik is connected to a computer, the files are downloaded to it through their website, and the FilterStik is then connected to the player. Firmware updates are also occasionally available for the player itself, by way of a similar method.
The Filter files are only available from ClearPlay as a monthly or annually subscribed membership. Unlimited access to the full library of movie Filters are then made available, which contains filters for various DVDs including most new releases. If filter files for a particular movie are not present, requests can be made through their website.

There is always new developments coming in even the possibility to stream movies and filter tham at the same time. This could be an answer Christians have been looking for. Here is a link to the site

Rich Are More Likely to be Unethical

Science can help explain a lot of things. In this case, it shows what we've known for a long time Some folks who have a lot more money than others seem to be less nice and more evil to everyone around them?

Matthew 19:16-24

"23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.' "

At 0:50, someone actually takes candy from babies. No, really. At 3:00, we start to see the science unfold before our eyes. Entire management courses could — and should — be taught with the bit starting at 4:40.

Also the Billionaire Charitable  Fund  meantioned is also misleading there is no legal document for the "fund" as far as I know to give their money away, just a pledge, if they can keep it.

Communion in the Hand:The deception and diabolical intrigue

Some think one has to be a Traditionalist to oppose communion in the hand. Far from it! The deception and diabolical intrigue to get it approved in the USA, and we would suppose other countries too, is a clear example of the crisis in the Church.
(1) Is the Pope in favor of Communion in the hand?
(2) Communion in the hand is not an indifferent practice;
(3) Communion in the hand spread through disobedience to the Pope;
(4) historical testimony against Communion in the hand;
(5) the danger of sacrilege;
(6) consecrated hands;
(7) champions for reverence to the blessed Sacrament,
(8) Communion on the tongue remains the law of the Church throughout the world to this day.

Scientists claim that homosexuality is not genetic

By Mark Ellis
Dr. Neil Whitehead
Dr. Neil Whitehead
Eight major studies of identical twins in Australia, the U.S., and Scandinavia during the last two decades all arrive at the same conclusion: gays were not born that way.
“At best genetics is a minor factor,” says Dr. Neil Whitehead, PhD. Whitehead worked for the New Zealand government as a scientific researcher for 24 years, then spent four years working for the United Nations and International Atomic Energy Agency. Most recently, he serves as a consultant to Japanese universities about the effects of radiation exposure. His PhD is in biochemistry and statistics.

Identical twins have the same genes or DNA. They are nurtured in equal prenatal conditions.  If homosexuality is caused by genetics or prenatal conditions and one twin is gay, the co-twin should also be gay.
“Because they have identical DNA, it ought to be 100%,” Dr. Whitehead notes. But the studies reveal something else. “If an identical twin has same-sex attraction the chances the co-twin has it are only about 11% for men and 14% for women.”
Because identical twins are always genetically identical, homosexuality cannot be genetically dictated. “No-one is born gay,” he notes. “The predominant things that create homosexuality in one identical twin and not in the other have to be post-birth factors.”
Dr. Whitehead believes same-sex attraction (SSA) is caused by “non-shared factors,”  things happening to one twin but not the other, or a personal response to an event by one of the twins and not the other.
For example, one twin might have exposure to pornography or sexual abuse, but not the other.  One twin may interpret and respond to their family or classroom environment differently than the other. “These individual and idiosyncratic responses to random events and to common environmental factors predominate,” he says.

Cancer is a Fungus

dr.simoncini cancer therapyDr. Simoncini is
a roman doctor specialising in oncology, diabetology and
in metabolic disorders.
"There is pressing need for new, life-giving sap to impart vigor to an asphyxiating theoretical structure whose philosophy, research, and practice no longer seems aligned with our times. The advanced and demanding society in which we live is no longer satisfied with the domination, for a limited time, of any disease by using the knowledge of physics and chemistry. "

The book “Cancer is a fungus” describes how a fungous infection always forms the basis of every neoplastic formation, and this formation tries to spread within the whole organism without stopping. The growth of the fungous colonies, together with the reaction of the tissue that tries to defend itself against the invasion, causes the tumour. This is a simple and solely extracellular phenomenon.
Therefore, there is only one cause of cancer: candida, which, according to the anatomical branch concerned causes different histological reactions. This is the reason why there are so many types of tumours.
At the moment, sodium bicarbonate (in a solution of 5% or 8.4%) is the only remedy capable of making the tumours disappear completely. In order to get the maximum of damaging effect, the sodium bicarbonate should be brought into direct contact with the tissue. This can be done by bringing a special catheter into the arteries that go to different organs, or by using the conventional endoscopic methods.
